In Person Learning Adventures are available in Carroll, Howard, Anne Arundel, Frederick, and Washington counties in Maryland. Prices for classes outside of those counties may be higher priced. Explore and Wonder Classes
Crafty Kid Creations provides educational enrichment classes for children ages 4-9. Classes are designed with developmentally appropriate activities for the age group. Classes can be 30-90 minutes in length depending upon your needs. STEM, Art, Science. Literacy, and Academic Enrichment classes are available, but topics of your choice can also be developed. All classes include a story, movement and games, and a project about the topic. Each class topic and timeframe is designed for your needs. Prices range from $10.00 per class per person to $20.00 per class per person depending upon the time, length, and topic of the class.
Explore and Wonder STEM: Build it Up
Designed to engage children in STEM activities focusing on concepts including balance, chain reaction, measuring, and building structures. Students will receive a STEM kit at the end of the session containing materials used in the classes.
Explore and Wonder STEM: Simple Machines
Designed to engage children in STEM activities focusing on the 6 simple machines: lever, wedge, wheel and axle, pulley, screw, and inclined plane. Students will create projects for each of the simple machines.
Explore and Wonder ART: Artful Animals
Designed to engage children in activities about various natural habitats including the desert, rainforest, woodlands, grasslands, and ocean. Projects use various mediums such as paint, quilling, paper, and clay.
Explore and Wonder SCIENCE: Dynamic Dinosaurs
Designed to engage children in activities about dinosaurs, fossils, and skeletons. Students will explore dinosaurs through classifying and measuring while also completing projects each week to reinforce the focus concept.
Explore and Wonder STEM: Make it Move!
Designed to engage children in STEM activities using magnets and batteries. Students will create projects each week incorporating magnets, movement, and batteries.
Explore and Wonder ART: Artist Inspirations
Designed to teach children about various artists and creating their own artwork inspired by artists such as Monet, Van Gogh, and Calder. Students will use various mediums including watercolor, clay, paint, acrylic, and paper.
Explore and Wonder ART: Spring into Color
Designed to engage children in activities about colorful spring topics including flowers, birds, and insects.
Explore and Wonder Classic Tales: Three’s Company
Designed to explore classic fairy tales that have 3’s—The Three Pigs, and The Three Bears, The Three Billy Goats Gruff. Children will act out the stories, compare versions of the stories, and create projects to assist with retelling the story.
Explore and Wonder: PreK Circle Time
This class is designed for 4-year-olds. This course includes movement, stories, games, and projects. Topics vary depending upon season.
Explore and Wonder: Academic Enrichment Tutoring Groups
This class is designed for an individual or small groups of children that need academic support in reading or math.
